The hotel is located in Sodacore, surrounded by greenery within an otherwise harsh desert. Sodacore is home to several domestic bird species during the winter season. It is a classic habitat for the Great Indian Bustards, which are an endangered species. Some prominent animals inhabiting the place are the desert fox, desert cat, antelope and blue bull.Being a nature resort, Mirvana offers organic food, farm fresh dairy and poultry products. Guests can also enjoy medicinal herbs in the healing garden and take a walk around the signature Amla Orchid. Besides, guests can also enjoy camel safaris through the dunes with a picnic lunch as well as interact with the vibrant village community. Situated not too far from Jaisalmer, Mirvana Nature Resort is a perfect getaway from the hectic professional life and an opportunity to surely look forward to experience nomadic desert life at its best.

I never expected to spend my trip to Jaisailmer primarily at our resort - but when you are at an amazing place, why leave?  The resort is about 50 km outside Jaisalmer. Started by a Rajasthani who looked a desert and saw an opportunity to build a farm and a desert oasis, the resort truly makes you feel like you have respite.  Now run by his 3 daughters, the resort has everything you want. Each room is in a private building. Lush grassy lawns to sit and stand at the stars. Some of the best local western Rajasthan meals you'll have (breakfast and dinner is included). A glorious swimming pool for when you want to cool off. A climb to the top of your cabana to watch the sunset over the farm and the peacocks just run wild. The sound of peacocks fills the air and can act as your own alarm clock. Butterflies circle the gardens. A very comfortable, large room with air conditioning, TV, refrigerator, and a veranda to just enjoy as you choose. Stay includes meals, including amazing Jaisailmer cuisine. Check when you book to see what is included. You can see the dates and pomegranates from the farm as you enter the location. It is a farm, so do bring mosquito repellent.  Trust me - if you have a car, you'll have a much better stay here than you will in Jaisalmer.

Best stay in Jaisalmer for a complete experience

Mirvana is literally like an oasis in the desert! I will list down all the reasons you need to stay at this place instead of Jaisalmer city! 1) a green oasis with lots of trees and date & pomegranate farm- The place is a heaven to get away from the usual hustle bustle of the city and feel the serenity of the desert. What most people forget is that the desert offered silence with just sounds from trees or birds, the city is a touristic gimmick for the crowds. This place offers a real experience and people from the local nearby village and their stories! Delicious food- their selection of local food is very nice - we had papad badi sabji, rabodi, local vegetables. We always asked the chef to suprise us and never actually ordered from the menu! The best dish that stood out was their mutton baati. Gorgeous property - you can unwind take morning walks around the farm and the property. Peacocks!! - so many just walking around - what a beautiful sight it is constantly! You can decide to stay here and travel to Jaisalmer which is a 40min drive which is what we did. Or you can stay here after the city. All in all a fantastic place to stay and relax in the pool with a beer! Best stay ever!

Terrible Experience - DO NOT VISIT

We were booked for 2 nights at this resort - 27th jan - 29th Jan . 3 senior citizens and self travel. I was recommended this place and given Mr Vijendra Number who is the resort in charge. I booked in advance and spoke to him about my requirements and he assured an amazing experience. Details of experience : 1. The resort is 68 kms before Jaisalmer which I was aware but took a risk given the recommendation and hence worth the pain. 2. We reached in the afternoon to check in while my driver suggested it wasn't an ideal location and I had paid no advance so I should reconsider . 3. Prior to visit I had spoken to Mr Vijender and had asked him to organise lunch and also make arrangements at the Sam dunes for the evening dinner and event. Mr Vijender was conveniently on vacation and staff was not aware and he wouldn't pick my call . 4. I still decided to continue the stay , We left our bags and left for Sam dunes . 5. We got back after dinner around 10 and to our surprise - it was errie scary.. poor network , no intercom in the room , no wifi password given , no hot water , the flush wasnt working and we couldnt call anyone , heater wasnt good and no extra blankets in the room , electricity kept going all night and it was pitch dark and my senior citizen family travelling with me almost hurt themselves while using the washroom etc etc .. Morning I decided to vacate the place as soon as there was sunlight literally in our night wear without breakfast , shower .. The staff didnt care to be apologetic and rather than not charging for the stay or discounting the stay , they insisted on full payment ..

The nature resort - perfect getaway

Perfect nature getaway. We stayed here for 2 nights and it was a superb experience. To start with it is literally in the midst of nature with peacocks, rabbits, roosters. The best thing about the resort is the staff led by the hospitality champion Mr. Gulab Singh. He is like this perfect host. We had a wonderful dinner with perfect settings in the open. The customization was of a different level. Also Mr Gulab Singh gave us a lovely farm tour. He is so passionate about this place. It was lovely. Only suggestion would be to improve the lighting's and fittings a little in the rooms. But nothing to complain about. We loved our stay and would look forward to going back.
